My present theme of research is “Dynamic Miniature Model.” The goal of the study is to build up a novel approach of video monitoring for security surveillance. In conventional approach of multi-point video monitoring, we have to check lots of screens concurrently as shown in Fig. 1. In our new approach, “Dynamic Miniature Model”, we can see exactly what's going on in the monitoring area by observing a miniature model, which is a reconstructed 3-D model of the real world in real time as shown in Fig. 2.
