Yoshiaki Takai, Dr.Eng.

Yoshiaki Takai was born in 1960.
He is currently a Professor and a Vice-director of Information Initiative
Center, Hokkaido University. He is an Aide to CIO of Hokkaido University.
From 1988 to 1989, he was a Research Associate of
the Faculty of Science, the University of Tokyo.
In 1989, He joined the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University.
His research interests include parallel computer architecture, parallel processing,
distributed processing, mobile agents applications, computer networks,
emergent computation, evolutional computation, physically-based modeling,
and computer graphics applications.
He received B.Eng. in electronic engineering in 1983, and M.Eng. and D.Eng.
in information engineering in 1985 and 1988 from Tohoku University.
He is a member of IPSJ, IEICE, International Academy of CIO,
and IEEE Computer Society.

Yoshiaki Takai
